Domestic users can check the status of a domestic insurance claim using the options below:
- If you’ve filed the claim online, then simply login to your USPS account and then access the “Claims History” tab to see the progress in the claim status.
- Or else, contact the Accounting Services Help Desk at 1-866-974-2733. Make sure to contact during the working hours only (Monday – Friday, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm ET (7:00 am to 7:00 pm CST).)
At a minimum, you will need to provide the following information:
- Your name
- Article number
- Original mail date
